“When your children find love, parents find joy”- one of our favorite quotes from the Father of the Bride’s toast. So begins the romantic story of Lindsey and Matt as told through their highlight film. We were thrilled to be “guests” again at The Franklin Institute – from the choreographed bridal party dance (you must check it out!) to the planetarium wedding ceremony, this was one stellar event.

When I edited this piece, how could I not open the story without including one of the most unique gift exchanges we’ve ever seen?

This was one couple who not only was head over heels for each other, but, knew capturing the event on video was at the top of their list. Onsite from Blossom were Adam and Christian-filming the details, emotions and slightest of nuances-all that go by in the blink of an eye. While all of these aspects are important, it’s the people we want to make sure we capture best. After all, we feel privileged to be “let in” to such a special day.

Thank you again to The Phoenixville Foundry for having us -terrific working with Robert Ryan Catering as well. So dazzled by Anne & Rich Photography that we requested to include some images within in this post. Always love seeing the photographer’s perspective of the day.

With the 2012 wedding season in full swing, Blossom’s “Short Film” has proven to be a hit. Ellie and Dan’s spectacular wedding was set at Brittland Manor on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. High school sweethearts in love relishing in their day, a dynamic venue and Green With Envy Events, Event Management & Design running the show with their stellar planning. And below, a testimonial from the Bride herself…

We were honored to film Garces Catering’s First Annual Bridal Event held at the Cira Centre here in Philadelphia. While the venue is stunning and perfectly located in center city, it’s the many delectable cuisines that is so uniquely Garces.
We highly suggest this location as a place for a party or event so, perhaps we’ll see you there? Other wonderful industry friends in attendance- Scott Lewis Photography, Love Shack Photography, Proud to Plan, Béke Beau, Make-up Artist ,Synergetic Sound & Lighting, Paper Rock Scissors , Truly You Events…just to name a few.

To sum up the unique nature of this wedding can only be told by Bethlene and Brock. Fortunately, both their description of the day and Blossom Productions’ highlight film was featured on Style Me Pretty.

As the day unfolded, we literally had their story handed to us. From Brock’s creative touch, personal vows, butterflies, sheep, Bethlene’s dance with her father and so on…. this was a wedding where almost every element had significance to them. This WAS a wedding with a tad of Pennsylvania history mixed with Old Hollywood flare.
Gabe and I both are from PA but, when we lived in CA, I distinctly remember missing the summer nights filled with the sound of crickets…therefore, ending this film with the songs of crickets was a nod to Bethlene and Brock’s roots (the crickets were really there as the two kissed outside on the lane!).

We recently filmed Katherine & Craig’s wedding at Appleford in Villanova -catering by Jeffrey A. Miller Catering. There is a sweetness and kindness that radiates from (and between!) these two. Katherine chose the song for the video below and it worked perfectly within the edit. We finally had the opportunity to also work with Todd Zimmerman of Pictures by Todd Photography. While we might be looking through similar lenses, his vision of the day is singular and especially in Todd’s case, just beautiful. All the lovely flowers were presented by Jessa Sommerfield of Sommerfield Designs.

I am re-posting this highlight film because Chrissy and Joe recently celebrated their one year anniversary. Filming, editing and then preserving this piece was a career highlight for us.
